DONATE YOUR OLD ROUND POUND COINS BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

The new 12-sided £1 coin enters circulation on March 28, with the old "round pound" being faded out after more than 30 years.

It is estimated that around £1.3 billion worth of coins are stored in many savings jars around the country with the current £1 coin accounting for nearly a third of these coins.

People are being urged to bank or spend their old coins before October 15, as there will be a period of just over six months when the old pound will still be accepted as legal tender alongside the new coin.

BE A PART OF IT AND DONATE TO OUR ‘POUNDS FOR HOUNDS’ APPEAL AND HELP OUR HOMELESS DOGS!
