Thank you for choosing to support Birmingham Dogs Home.

We really appreciate the time and effort you will be making in your busy lives to help support the local homeless dogs in our care and we wanted to make it as simple as possible by sharing lots of ideas, details of events and resources right here.  From challenge events to office-based activities, volunteering to team building, we have a busy calendar of activities for you to choose from.

By raising money for Birmingham Dogs Home you are helping us to care for dogs like Charlie

Patiently waiting for 19 months, Came in July 2021
2 year old, male Boxer
Hi, I came into BDH when I was just a big puppy and needed surgery on my legs. I’ve spent most of my life in a kennel environment and would love a home to call my own. I’m very bouncy and need a family that will give me lots of time and can keep taking me to weekly hydrotherapy.

£250 per year - will pay for me to have behavioural training, to help me to recover from my mistreatment

It costs our charity over £2.5 million to run our two rescue centres every year and we can’t do it without help from amazing people like you.

So set your target, make a plan, smash some personal goals and do it for the dogs! Thank you for helping us to help every dog learn to wag again and find a new family to give them the love they deserve.

Ways to Get Involved

Step into Steptember

Autumn is finally here! Get out and about making the most of your lunchtimes by walking a mile around our lovely park to raise money for Birmingham Dogs Home

We have marked out a scenic circular route for you to enjoy and if you have brought your own pooch to work with you, it’s the perfect lunchtime walkies.

Volunteer at our events

As a small hardworking team, we always welcome support from your staff.  There are lots of ways to get involved. Our fundraising team needs help preparing for and running our community fundraising events.   From helping put up gazebos to running games to helping out with dog shows, if you can lend a paw we would really appreciate it.  We also have opportunities to support BDH at collection days at local Pets at Home stores.

Please see our 2023 community events list and complete an enquiry form if you would like to lend a paw.

Birmingham Business Park x BDH Just Giving Page

Your very own Just Giving page for donations which go directly to our homeless dogs. Whether it’s an office fundraiser or someone doing a sponsored run, all donations raised on this platform will add to your total amount raised during the year.

Birmingham Dogs Home Events

Take a look at our local community events which you can get involved with. Help out by volunteering your time, share around the office to get more visitors, let your suppliers know, and tell your friends and family. If you can share on your socials that would be great too!

Our events are a great way to get involved with our team, our supporters and of course the local community. If you are interested, please get in touch.
