Finnegan was a 2-year-old Shar Pei who arrived at our centre as a stray with very poorly skin and very underweight. Shar Pei dogs can sometimes be prone to skin issues due to their unique look. The Vet Team at BDH knew exactly what to do to help Finnegan start to feel better, and after a little bit of extra TLC his skin started to improve.

No one likes to feel poorly so it wasn’t until he was feeling better that the Canine Carers started to see his true personality. Finnegan was a big foodie and loved all his treats which really helped him to come out of his shell and bond with his carers.

Finnegan went to his new fur-ever family in May, and he has settled in well. We are so pleased you got your waggy ending Finnegan – you deserve it!
