4 year old German Shepherd Cross

Marty arrived at the Wolverhampton Centre in May 2024 and was a typical lively young dog. Shortly after his arrival he started to have ongoing sickness, he was tired and was off his food. The Vet Team did a full check over with him as we as an x-ray and it was discovered that he had managed to swallow a whole tennis ball which had become lodged in his stomach and couldn’t pass through.

Unfortunately for him he had to undergo a long and intensive surgery for it to be removed.

Thanks to our brilliant team, the surgery was a success, and he has now made a full recovery! Marty was rehomed in August to a wonderful new family and has settled in well to family life.
