8 year old Greyhound

Onyx was an 8-year-old Greyhound who arrived to us after being found abandoned and found as a stray. Soon after she arrived, she had a seizure that lasted over 15 minutes leaving her unable to stand, feel her right side or react to anything that was going on around her. She was rushed to the vets who couldn’t find any reason as to why this had happened but kept her in overnight for monitoring.

After a night in the Vets, she was returned to the Wolverhampton Centre where she was feeling much better. She was eating, standing and happy to have some gentle fuss. The vets couldn’t find a reason as to why this seizure had happened, they hoped it was just a one off.

Onyx remained happy and healthy for the rest of her time at Birmingham Dogs Home before being rehomed a few weeks later with a wonderful family.
