Sapphire was a shy and nervous little pug who arrived at our Wolverhampton Centre after there was a change of circumstances in her previous home. Kennel life seemed a lot for Sapphire, and it took her a little while to come out of her shell, especially with toys. Her Canine Carers tried soft toys, squeaky toys, tug toys and she wasn’t interested in any of them, all she really wanted was a cuddle and a warm place to sit.

With this being the case Sapphire spent a lot of time with the Front of House team over at Wolverhampton, sitting in reception and keeping everyone company. After a few weeks in our care a lady came in looking for a small dog who would keep her company in the garden – and Sapphire was the perfect fit!

Sapphire was rehomed and is living a life filled with love, cuddles and tasty treats. 2025 got off to a rough start for Sapphire, but we know that the rest of her life will be wonderful!
