Meet Ben!
Ben is a lovely gentle boy with an incredibly sweet nature. He’s a real cuddly boy who adores human attention and loves nothing more than being made a fuss of. While he can be a little nervous when he first meets someone he soon comes around especially when there are a few tasty treats involved!
Ben is very much a people dog. He isn’t interested in toys but he is highly motivated by human interaction and enjoys spending time with his people. He knows how to sit and responds beautifully to gentle attention really softening and engaging when he is shown some affection.
Out on walks Ben is a pleasure to have around. He walks well on the lead and if he does start to pull he knows the routine he stops and goes straight back to heel. He enjoys his walks without needing to be constantly entertained making him a lovely companion for someone who enjoys a relaxed stroll.
Ben can sometimes jump up for a cuddle but he isn’t strong or boisterous about it; it’s simply his sweet way of asking for some extra affection!
Ben is happy around children who are 5 years and over but unfortunately can’t live with other dogs. It may be possible to have walking buddies though provided they aren’t too boisterous. He really is an all-round sweetheart who would love a home where he can feel safe settled and most importantly part of the family.
