My Name is Cali and I’m a big bundle of fun! I love my toys and to play off lead in the secure areas, don’t be fooled by my greying face, I still have lots of energy for my age! I could potentially live with confident, large breed male dog as I like to play rough!
My Canine Carer Notes
Cali is a lovely girl with the people she knows and trusts, however she can be very guarded and wary of people she doesn’t know. Because of this Cali has shown reactivity towards people, this can be both on lead and off lead.
Due to her reactivity, Cali does have a bite history involving someone she doesn’t know. Because of this, Cali is looking for a home with experience of large, reactive dogs. She also needs a home with no children or other animals other than a possible neutered male companion who can handle her rough play.
Once she knows you, Cali is a fabulous girl with so much love to give. She is a powerful girl on the lead but can have nice manners when you can keep her engaged.
Cali’s potential new owner needs to be prepared to do multiple meets at the centre in order for us to introduce her, as well as give help and advise on how to introduce her to new people in her life outside the centre.
