A little about me
Hello I am Charlie, I am a full of life pooch and I absolutely love playing with my toys, especially my soft teddies however I do have a tendency to rip them open when my K9 carers are not watching. I also go to hydrotherapy once a week which I seem to enjoy, and I am looking a new owner that can commit to taking me.
My K9 cares notes
Charlie came into our centre as a stray when he was just 5 months and has spent the most part of his life in a kennel environment. On arrival it was determined he had a cruciate rupture at a young age which has been left untreated. Because of this Charlie has ongoing hydrotherapy which will need to be continued in a new home.
Charlie is looking for a very patient home where he can be an only dog, however he would strongly benefit from socializing with other dogs on walks. This is due to his boisterous nature and his lack of fundamental training and basic manners in a home environment. He also needs further management on walks as he does have a tendency to pull.
During his stay in kennels he has been a staff favorite as he is very affectionate and believes he is a lap dog. He has also learnt lots of commands and possesses great enthusiasm to learn more.
Before applying for Charlie please take into consideration the costs involved in rehoming Charlie with high expenses such as hydrotherapy and insurance costs
To apply to rehome Charlie please fill in our adoption form below, once a suitable match has been found, Charlie will be removed from the website.
