Meet Dior!
Dior is a very sweet girl who came into our care as a stray so we do not know much about her past. When she first arrived she was underweight and quite nervous but she has made lovely progress and is slowly beginning to show her true personality.
Dior can be nervous when meeting new people and may become easily spooked in unfamiliar situations. With a little time and patience she begins to relax and once she knows you she is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She loves a fuss and enjoys spending time close to her people.
She is very food motivated and loves to search for treats which is a great way to engage her and build her confidence. She is not particularly interested in toys and would much rather enjoy calm interaction and gentle attention. She already knows how to sit – give paw – and responds well to her name!
Dior is not suitable to live with other dogs. She can react to them from a distance and within her kennel and although she may appear more comfortable up close she can still become vocal. She will need continued support and management around other dogs.
She would be best suited to a home with children aged 13 and over who can give her the space and understanding she needs while she continues to build confidence.
Dior is a gentle and loving girl who just needs a patient and reassuring home. With the right support she will continue to grow in confidence and become a devoted and affectionate companion
