Meet Jax! Jax is a handsome American bulldog who arrived at our entre as a stray. While most of his past is unknown, we know that he is more than ready to find a home to call his own.

Jax has a friendly and happy nature. he enjoys his walks, although he can be quite stong on the lead and may benefit from Halti training. He’s an independent soul, showing little interest in treats or toys at the moment, though this may change once he’s settled into a loving home. He knows basic commands like sit and responds well to his name. Jax does have a quirky habit of not understanding personal space, often walking around and sniffing people he knows.

Jax is very well-behaved when grooming, standing still and making the process easy. With a bit of training to curb his strong pull on the lead, he’ll make an excellent walking companion.

Jax needs to be the only pet in the home, due to his reactivity to other dogs. He wouldn’t be suitable for homes with visiting dogs either. Given his size and strength, a home with children aged 13 and above would be ideal for Jax.
