Meet Klaus 💙
Klaus is a fun-loving excitable boy with a big personality and a real love for adventure. He enjoys his walks exploring new places and showing off his famous zoomies when he’s in a safe enclosed area!
Once Klaus knows you he can be a very affectionate and loyal companion. He can be strong excitable and jump up when greeting people so he needs an experienced home who is confident handling and training a large energetic dog.
Klaus can find some situations overwhelming and has previously shown concerning behaviour towards people including snarling so it is important that his new family understands his needs and is prepared to give him time space and clear boundaries while he settles. He will need ongoing positive training and confidence-building to help him feel safe and comfortable.
Klaus cannot live with other dogs and is looking for an adult-only home 16+. He will need someone around for most of the time initially as he struggles with being left alone. This will need to be built up very gradually and we can support his adopters with this.
Klaus has had a hard start to life and we believe that with the right person stability and patience he can continue to make positive progress and become a wonderful companion. 💙
