Meet Niamh!
This lovely girl is currently enjoying life in a fantastic foster home where she’s really been able to relax after finding kennel life a little too stressful. While she’s loving all the home comforts she’s still on the lookout for a forever home of her own.
She’s a sweet affectionate girl who loves nothing more than curling up on the sofa for cuddles with her favourite people. She’s happiest in a calm quiet home where she can enjoy life at her own pace.
She isn’t interested in playing with other dogs and would like to be the only dog in the home. She’s happy to walk past dogs when given a bit of space but she doesn’t appreciate them getting too close or into her face.
She’s looking for a home with children aged 13 and over as she prefers not to be handled around her back end and enjoys having her own space respected.
When she’s not snoozing on the sofa or sunbathing in the garden you’ll often find her watching and chasing birds carrying around her favourite tennis balls or having a little wander around the garden. She isn’t particularly interested in games with people but she does love her toys.
One thing you’ll quickly learn is that she’s a very clever girl! She can jump surprisingly high open baby gates and even work out door handles so she’ll need a home that’s prepared for her little talents.
She also has one very strong opinion — rain is not for her! She’s much happier heading out in a nice warm coat when the weather turns cold or wet.
Food-wise she’s not a big foodie and prefers to graze throughout the day on wet and dry food although chicken and cheese are definitely favourites.
