Meet Nina!
Nina is a sweet older Staffy girl who is ready to find a loving home where she can enjoy her golden years at her own pace.
Nina was found as a stray and kindly taken to a local vets by a member of the public. She can be a little shy when you first meet her but she soon comes around and shows you her lovely personality. Don’t let her age fool you though; she still has plenty of playful energy!
Nina absolutely loves her toys especially rubber and squeaky ones and can become rather obsessed with them! She enjoys a good chew on hard toys and bones although soft toys may not last very long. She hasn’t quite mastered the art of dropping or swapping her toys so she much prefers to enjoy them in her own space. Nina is a very independent girl who is happy pottering around doing her own thing with a favourite toy by her side. She’s also very gentle when taking treats although she can be a little fussy and prefers the really tasty ones!
Nina can sometimes pull forward on the lead when out walking but she isn’t a strong girl and enjoys getting out and about at her own pace.
Nina would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She can ignore other dogs from a distance but doesn’t like them getting into her personal space and can be barky or snappy if they get in her face.
She would suit a home with children aged 10+ who understand that Nina is an older girl who likes her independence and needs her own space particularly when enjoying her toys. Calm dog-savvy children who can respect her boundaries would be ideal.
Nina may be an older girl but she still has plenty of love fun and personality to give. All she needs now is a quiet understanding home where she can be herself enjoy her favourite toys and spend her days being loved and pampered.
