Meet Rocco, a charming 1-year-old large brindle crossbreed, seeking a loving forever home.
Rocco is a smart boy who knows his basic commands. His affectionate nature shines through as he loves playing with toys. However, he can become a bit destructive when left alone. The good news is, Rocco has started crate training and is making great progress. He willingly tucks himself away and can be comfortably left shut in the crate for up to 15 minutes, with the duration gradually increasing over time.
Rocco has also been fully Halti trained in our care and does walks well. While he can be strong, the Halti training makes walks more manageable, ensuring an enjoyable experience for both Rocco and his future owners.
Rocco does still need some basic manners training to curb his enthusiasm for jumping up. With consistent guidance and positive reinforcement, he will quickly adapt to house rules. Rocco truly is a full of life boy who would thrives in an home. He does have potential to live with children aged 13 and older. He can also potentially coexist with other dogs, provided they match his active energy levels.
Rocco has spent some time on kennel rest due to intermittent lameness, which has been thoroughly examined and resolved by our caring vets. For more details about his medical history, our team at the centre is ready to provide all the information you need.
