Meet Sheeba, a lovely under socialised girl whose journey began when she was found as a stray, chained to a post. It wasn’t the best start, but she made certainly has made strides in her confidence and general socialisation since being in our care.
Despite the rocky start Sheeba has faced, she is a lovely girl, who still can be a little shy at times, once a bond has been established, she is an okay-to-handle girl with a lot of love to give.
Sheeba is still under socialised and can be a bit jumpy and mouthy initially. At our centre we have already started to discourage this behaviour, and she has taken very well to her training. She knows the basics like sit, give paw, lie down, responds to her name and recalls when in a secure area. Sheeba has got a mild interest in toys, especially balls, but she might grab and drop them quickly.
Sheeba is looking for an active home with someone who has experience with shepherds or similar breeds. Living with other dogs or children isn’t my ideal for Sheeba, so she is looking for a home where she can be the centre of attention. It is also recommended that new owners continue to offer Sheeba further socialisation and confidence building with everyday life.
