Meet Winnie!
Winnie is a happy energetic girl who is now available for adoption and ready to find her forever home!
Winnie came into our care as a stray and has been with us since July. She’s a friendly excitable girl who absolutely loves people and is motivated by human interaction. She also enjoys spending time with other dogs and can live with doggy friends.
There’s never a dull moment with Winnie! She’s full of energy and can be quite boisterous especially when she gets excited. She can pull forward on the lead and may become easily aroused or engage in rough play if she gets overstimulated so she’ll need a family who can help her learn to manage all those big feelings and channel her enthusiasm in positive ways.
Winnie loves a bit of fun and will happily run after toys although toys aren’t quite her favourite thing. Her real motivation is people and dog interaction – she simply loves being involved!
The lovely news is that Winnie can live with children of all ages and she enjoys being around people. With her energetic nature she would suit an active family who can give her plenty of engagement training and positive experiences.
