St Giles Nursing Home’s Generous Donation to Birmingham Dogs Home

This April, we were delighted to welcome representatives from St Giles Nursing Home to Birmingham Dogs Home. They came to present a generous donation of £180.20, funds they raised through a festive Christmas Fair held at their facility. St Giles Nursing Home is committed to supporting local charities, and their ongoing efforts have significantly benefited our homeless dogs this year.

During their visit, a few of the residents and staff members took the opportunity to meet one of our cherished residents, Queenie. Queenie, who joined us in February, has quickly become a favorite due to her friendly and affectionate nature. She was more than happy to show off her favorite ball and enjoyed receiving cuddles and attention from the visitors.

The visit was a heartwarming occasion for everyone involved. It not only provided an opportunity for the residents of St Giles to interact with our dogs but also highlighted the community’s role in supporting our mission. The donation from their Christmas Fair will go directly towards the care and support of dogs like Queenie, helping us ensure they receive the best possible care while they wait for their forever homes.
