Giving up your pet in the right way

We understand that giving up your dog can be a very hard decision to make. Sometimes life does not work out the way we want it to, and there could be several reasons why you need to rehome your dog such as changes of circumstances, relationship breakdowns, financial troubles etc.

Our team are on hand to help without judgment should you feel that you have no other alternative. We will do everything we can, including helping to give you advice over the phone if this is an option but unfortunately, we are not able to take in every dog. Our team will be honest with you in regard to the reasons why and will try to help with alternative arrangements.

Expensive veterinary treatment

We appreciate that veterinary treatment can be very expensive. If you are unable to keep your dog due to ongoing health issues or high veterinary costs, please call our team who will be able to take further information from you to see if we are able to help.

Animals with behavioural problems

If you are experiencing behavioural problems with your dog and need some advice, or are looking for help with rehoming, we advise you to call our team directly to talk to a member of our behavioural team to discuss the problems you are facing and to see how we can help.

We try to help as much as possible, however, we ask for owners to have a realistic expectation on the type of problems we can help with.
