Santa Paws & Craft Fayre is Back – and Now It’s a Full Weekend!

One of our most popular festive events is returning to Birmingham Dogs Home this November, and this year Santa Paws is bigger than ever!

After selling out quickly in previous years, we’re delighted to announce that Santa has managed to clear a little more space in his very busy diary, meaning Santa Paws & Craft Fayre will now take place across a full weekend on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November.

Whether you’re bringing your dog, the children or the whole family, come along and create some special Christmas memories while raising vital funds for the homeless dogs in our care.

Meet Santa and capture the perfect Christmas photo

Of course, the star of the weekend will be Santa himself, who is very happy to meet dogs and children of all ages!

Your visit includes the opportunity to have a special festive photograph taken with Santa by our wonderful photographer, Jennifer Jefferies Pet Photography, who is also one of Birmingham Dogs Home’s Behaviourists.

This means we’re used to welcoming dogs with all sorts of personalities. Whether your dog is confident and ready to give Santa a kiss, a little excitable, nervous of new people or needs some extra space, our team will do everything we can to make their visit a positive experience.

With Santa Paws taking place at the end of November, your professionally edited photograph will be ready in plenty of time for Christmas – you could even turn it into your family Christmas card!

Make a day of it

There’s much more to Santa Paws than meeting the man in red. You can soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy our Christmas shopping and craft stalls, pick up some gifts, enjoy refreshments and food, and take part in festive activities.

Children can also write their very own Letter to Santa and post it during their visit. Even better, Santa and his elves will make sure they receive a special response before the big day!

And, of course, visiting Santa wouldn’t be complete without a present, with special gifts for both the dogs and children who come to see him.
