Please be my Friend...

As one of the region’s oldest and best loved charities, since opening our doors in 1892, our mission has always been to Rescue, Reunite and Rehome lost and homeless dogs.

We now rescue over 2,500 dogs each year and it costs around £6,000 a day to care for all of the dogs that need us at our two centres in Birmingham and Wolverhampton. We are totally reliant on the generosity of the dog loving general public to operate.

By becoming a Friend of Birmingham Dogs Home, for just a few pounds a month, you will help us to pay for the daily costs of heating kennels, washing bedding, buying food and treats, as well as the costs of training, providing essential and life-saving medical care and finding loving new homes. Thank you for helping us to help the most deserving dogs in our region find happier tomorrows.
